Ingredients

  • 1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup of Provea protein Provea your choice
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 ¼ cups ripe bananas, mashed with a fork (3 to 4 bananas)
  • ½ cup of milk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, Provea protein powder, baking powder, and baking soda.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract, then mix well.
  5. Stir in the mashed bananas and milk.
  6. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir gently until the mixture is smooth.
  7. Pour the batter into the loaf pan.
  8. Bake for about 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before removing from the pan, then let it cool completely on a wire rack.
