Homemade soft candy bar

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup natural nut butter (almond or peanut)
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup or honey
  • 1 serving of Provea protein Provea flavor of your choice)
  • ¼ cup dark chocolate chips or dried fruit
  • 1 tablespoon ground chia or flax seeds (optional)

Preparation

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the walnut butter and maple syrup over low heat until the mixture is smooth.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, Protéa protein powder, and seeds.
  3. Pour the hot mixture over the dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. Add the chocolate chips or dried fruit.
  5. Press the mixture firmly into a rectangular pan lined with parchment paper.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  7. Cut into bars and store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
