Homemade soft candy bar
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ½ cup natural nut butter (almond or peanut)
- ¼ cup pure maple syrup or honey
- 1 serving of Provea protein Provea flavor of your choice)
- ¼ cup dark chocolate chips or dried fruit
- 1 tablespoon ground chia or flax seeds (optional)
Preparation
- In a small saucepan, heat the walnut butter and maple syrup over low heat until the mixture is smooth.
- In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, Protéa protein powder, and seeds.
- Pour the hot mixture over the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Add the chocolate chips or dried fruit.
- Press the mixture firmly into a rectangular pan lined with parchment paper.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Cut into bars and store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
